Exciting news—the Cunningham MS Band has earned its first-ever Sweepstakes in the history of our campus and South Park!
Our Wolves received straight 1st division ratings on stage AND in the sight-reading room, which is the highest honor a band can achieve at UIL.
This accomplishment reflects the hard work, discipline, and dedication of our incredible students, as well as the support they receive from Band Director Mr. Paloma, Moody Director Mr. Villarreal, and Moody Assistant Band Director Mrs. Garcia.

We brought home 3 first-place finishes, 1 second place, and 2 third places at the Miller Tournament, defeating Browne, Driscoll, and West Oso. By the end of the tournament, it was even Wolves vs. Wolves for placements because we were the only team left in the brackets.

We are excited to invite mothers and daughters (or grandmothers and granddaughters) to Girl Power 2026, hosted by the Laura Bush Foundation! Several middle schools will be coming together for this fun and inspiring event.

📍 Cunningham Middle School at South Park
This FREE event will include inspiring speakers, free t-shirts, sunglasses, and lots of giveaways! There will also be a grand prize drawing for iPhone earbuds. Lunch will be provided for all attendees.
Registration forms have been distributed to all girls at CSP, and the flyer and registration form are attached to this post.
We hope you will join us for this special event celebrating the power of girls and the important relationships they share with the women in their lives. 💜
