Like districts nationwide, CCISD is experiencing a continued, critical shortage of bus drivers. To help reduce students' time on the bus as well as to maximize bus driver staffing, the district is studying the possibility of adjusting middle school instructional hours (with the exception of Metro P) to 8:20 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. Please help us learn how we may best implement this possible change by sharing your thoughts on how this fits with your family's schedules and activities. Our consideration of this change currently includes reviewing extra-curricular schedules and staff schedules. The survey will close at 4:30 p.m., Friday, May 15.
